Accountant
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the Financial Reporting and Compliance Standards of the Company, which will include but not be limited to the following:
- Management & Reporting of all Financial Statements, and ensuring Compliance Standards as required by APRA and other Regulatory Authorities, as well as for internal Management purposes
- Management & Reporting of Trust Account , including payments to Insurers within their credit terms, payment of associated levies & taxes (eg. Fire Service Levies, Respective State Stamp Duties, Withholding Tax, etc)
- Development and Monitoring of Budgets, both Revenue & Expenses
- Monthly Reporting on both Revenue & Expenses, including monitoring of outstanding debts, and timely payment of Expenses
- General Ledger & Journals, and maintenance of all Company Reports including Trial Balances, P&L, Balance Sheets, etc
Experience
Experience in a similar role within the Insurance Industry, and administration of a Trust Account, is crucial. Whilst not essential, CA/CPA qualifications would be preferred.
